In Bloom is a collection of images that capture the freedom and intensity of exploration and creation, by the photographer Brik.

Very few works on this subject have been published so openly.

The images included in this book represent ten years of desire, documentation, devotion and community.

The work insists on something that digital circulation cannot sustain: duration, sequence, the physical encounter with bound pages...in place of fleeting images that flow through feeds, this book gathers them, suspends them.

The title In Bloom embodies several senses.

It stands as testament to the artist's own personal growth and self-acceptance over this decade of work. It references the flowering of the fisting scene itself, the evolution from underground practice to increased visibility. It connects to the practice: plowing as preparation for bloom, the hard work that cultivates conditions for opening. And it is a playful nod to the term "rosebud," used adoringly within the FF culture.
